Logos, Website Design
Having worked on BroadOak’s logo and website back in 2007 using the ‘tools’ of that time, I was tasked with revamping both the logo and website to be more modern and utilize the latest web standards for an overall better user experience.
The logo itself had such a strong icon, but we all felt that the “Futura” typeface was now outdated so we researched possible alternatives and came up with a typeface that was much stronger and cohesive.
With the advance of mobile devices and users on the go, the decision was made to have a website that would be easily accessible regardless of platform while still being a visually engaging and structured website. Using responsive technology and scripting, the site was crafted to provide an optimal viewing experience—easy reading and navigation with a minimum of resizing, panning, and scrolling—across a wide range of devices.
So the site is just as stunning whether you are viewing it from your desktop computer, your iPad, iPhone or Android device. Success!
